Detect Mode: The Listen, Search, and Spot skills are part of the Detect modal action and when active, it reduces the normal movement rates and makes the character perform active Listen, Search, and Spot checks.

Elves recieve the Keen Sense feat, which allows them to apply their full skills without a movement speed decrease.
