Difficulty Class
From Talus Wiki
Difficulty Class (DC) of a spell or another ability is a number that determines how hard it is to save against. To successfully save versus a spell, your fully modified saving throw (or other skill check) roll must be equal to or greater than the DC, i.e., the higher the number, the harder it will be for the character to beat with the appropriate skill check.
The calculation for Difficulty Class are as followed:
Skills
- 1d20 + skill modifier (Skill modifier = Skill rank + Ability modifier + Feat modifiers)
Spells
- 10 + Spell Level + Ability modifier (Modifier for the Caster Class) + Modifier (2, 4, or 6 for SF, GSF and ESF respectively.)
