The following area variables may be set in the toolset, by
- right clicking the area name
- choosing Properties
- choosing the Advanced tab
- clicking the ... button next to Variables.
| Name | Type | Value | Description |
| iNoTeleport | int | 1 | Prevents Teleporting out of area |
| iNoToken | int | 1 | Prevents use of any Teleport Tokens to leave area |
| iNoMemorize | int | 1 | Prevents Memorizing of area for teleporting |
| iNoTeleportLeader | int | 1 | Prevents use of city portals to teleport to leader |
| iFlyAllowed | int | 1 | Allows Flying Token to work in area. |
| iDark | int | 1 | Indicates a dark area for use with subraces |
